What We Buy
Pilbara Scrap Metal Recyclers welcomes enquiries about the 16 buying categories shown below. Select a material to learn what information to provide. Acceptance, grading, current prices and delivery or collection arrangements depend on the material and location; please confirm details with the team.
Common Scrap Metals
Browse common ferrous and non-ferrous scrap categories. Different grades, contamination and mixed materials can affect assessment, so describe the material accurately when requesting a quote.
Cables, Batteries and Other Materials
These categories may require extra handling, safe storage or material identification. Contact the team before delivery or collection.
Mining and Industrial Wear Components
For specialised wear parts and mining equipment material, share any material specification, size, quantity, and site access information that is available.
Vehicle and Cooling Equipment
Confirm acceptance and safe handling for components that may contain regulated or specialised materials. Please do not dismantle sealed cooling equipment or exhaust systems to prepare an enquiry.
Questions About Materials We Buy
Do you buy copper and brass as separate categories?
Yes. Copper and brass have separate enquiry pages. Describe the metal and whether it is mixed with other scrap.
Can I submit a list of different scrap materials?
Yes. Include the material names, approximate amounts and where they are located. The team can clarify what is suitable and how it should be handled.
How do I enquire about mining wear parts or equipment?
Identify the component, any known specifications and its approximate size, weight and location. Photos may help explain the enquiry.
Are batteries, air conditioning units and exhaust components handled like ordinary scrap?
Not necessarily. Some materials and equipment have additional handling requirements. Confirm acceptance and safe preparation before moving or dismantling anything.
Does the business collect scrap across Western Australia?
